Part 1: Ears

(Make 2)

You need to make two ears in black yarn, then set them aside. They will be sewn onto the head later.

Round 1

Sc 6 in magic ring

Round 2

(Sc 2, inc) 6 times (8)

Rounds 3-4

Sc in each stitch once (8)

When Round 4 is done, fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing, and set aside. Do not stuff.

Part 1: Ears

Part 2: Tail

(Make 1)

Make one in black yarn, then set it aside. It will be sewn on to the panda later

Round 1

6 sc in a magic ring

Rounds 2-4 (3 rounds)

Sc around. At the end of Round 4, fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing, and stuff lightly. Set the tail aside.

Part 3: Limbs (Arms and Legs)

(Make 4)

Make these, stuff them, and set them aside. Two will become the arms and two will become the legs.

Round 1

5 sc in Magic Ring (5)

Round 2

Inc in each stitch around (10)

Rounds 3-5 (3 rounds)

Sc once in each stitch. At the end of round 5, fasten off with a long tail for sewing, stuff, and set aside for later.

Part 4: Head and Body

(Make 1)

Now we will crochet the main part of our panda. It is crocheted all in white, in one piece.

Part 5: Body

(Make 1)

Do not fasten off on the head! This is continuing from where the head left off. Add the eyes between rounds 6 and 7, 7 stitches apart. The nose goes between rounds 7 and 8, right in the middle of the eyes. When you are done this, stuff the head and keep going.
