Before you begin...
This pattern is made using 36 granny squares to create the body then the sleeves are made using the granny stitch.
This pattern was made as a stash buster, so use all of your random yarn in your collection to make the pattern.

Crochet granny squares to make the back and front of the sweater. You can choose to make all of the squares the same color or change the colors after each row.

Join the squares into 3 panels.
Panel One & Two: 4 by 2 squares
Panel Three: 4 by 5 squares

Now is time to slip stitch the sweater together to create a vest. Place one 4 x 2 panel on the left and right of the back panel so the wrong side is facing out on both panels.
